Janina Calderon-Ferguson is the Founder and President of Calderon Hispanic Marketing (CHM). Her expertise in in-culture advertising, branding/positioning, strategic planning, public relations, translation and production for the Hispanic market and its various subcultures has been key in assisting corporations to effectively reach and influence the Hispanic Market. Ms. Calderon-Ferguson is the creative force behind CHM. Her experience includes work with companies such as: US West, Banco Popular, Arizona Lottery, CSK Auto (Checkers), Hallmark Entertainment Network, MasterCard International, MLB Arizona Diamond Backs, McDonald's, Coors Brewing Company, and the YMCA just to mention a few.

She holds a B.S. Degree in Marketing and an International Marketing Certificate from Arizona State University , as well as a Broadcasting Diploma from the Columbia School of Broadcasting in Hollywood , CA . Her experience in Spanish-language broadcasting has made her aware of the need for excellence in Spanish-language advertising.


Ms. Calderon-Ferguson is very dedicated to helping others, not only in the Hispanic community, but other ethnic minority communities as well and she has demonstrated her dedication by being generous with her time and resources in helping others. She also has been recognized as one of the “Top Latinas” in the country by Hispanic Magazine (June 2004 issue). She serves on advisory boards of the Denver Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Centro Bienestar San Jose and the Minority Enterprise & Educational Development. She has also been involved in varying degrees with the Rocky Mountain Minority Supplier Development Council and the Colorado Women's Chamber of Commerce. She has contributed to a program provided by Mi Casa Women's Resource Center in Denver , by providing education and instruction in enhancing necessary skills to enable women to start their own businesses. She is also involved with the Colorado Asthma Coalition and Adams City High School .
